Joyce and Rick

photography by john michael cooper, blog post by dalisa cooper

JMC is still slightly obsessed with John Singer Sargent’s El Jaleo painting which has shown in his work over the last 3 or 4  years.  This is the closest he has come in remaking the famous painting it which he was able to do after finding the perfect couple for such a project.  Joyce and Rick’s story just happens to come together over a flamenco dance and now they are soon to be wed.  You can certainly feel the romance with this couple.

And a few portraits for everyone’s viewing pleasure…

Epic. Way to stay true to your creative muse. Art History has many lessons to teach us and inspiration is one of the best!
