Roadside Family Portraits
CJ and Denise’s family became our test and first family on our pay-it-forward project that we will be doing in between cities during our veryAltf tour. Simply Canvas is sponsoring this project which was inspired by David Williams during his DWF Tampa seminar. We will be shooting between 22-28 photographers families as a roadside family portrait. Why?…basically because the cobblers son has no shoes. You’ll be surprised that many photographers have loads of photos of their kids, pets and loved ones but few have a complete family portrait that includes them. So, with the project we selected several deserving families that once we shoot thier session, they will have to pay it forward and photograph another photographers family, and hopefully it will continue on from there.
This is a very, very cool idea John! Maybe you could do my family when you are here in Denver? I’m going to do this regardless though. If you don’t mind me stealing your idea that is.
I love the pay-it-forward concept. I look forward to seeing lots of images!
