New York,

for one day.  After our New Jersey wedding we took the day after to make a quick trip to New York.  I had an agenda.
one: go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and bee-line it to see John Singer Sargents works.    Below is Madame X, what sargent considered his best painting.  I have now been to 3 galleries on both coasts to view his work,  one more painting to see in person, my favorite, “el jaleo” which we will during our veryaltf tour when we roll through Boston at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
BTW… the image above taken from the DWF world headquarters – how lucky are we to have seen it?

Shop.  yes.  I took my wife shopping for an early birthday present, something very New York.
