Malea and Ricky. One side effect of a full church wedding is that you are often dictated by the church schedule resulting in early day ceremonies. This, of course, leaves you with the question of what to do with the extra time in between the ceremony and the reception.  Malea knew exactly what to do with that extra time and it just so happens to fall right in line with what we love to do:  Portraits and play time with the wedding party.  After a ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church we took the couple along with the entire wedding party out to the edge of Red Rock Canyon for some uber cool wedding party shots against the beautiful landscape. We still had some time on our hands so we went back to the beautiful suite they had at Red Rock Hotel and Casino and shot some more portraits, and of course I couldn’t help myself so I had to shoot just one more version of the wedding party.  It’s not often you get to use the line “I want you on the bed, yes all twelve of you”.  After a fun portrait session there was no better way than to finish off the day with an outdoor reception at Crimson and then party to the end of the night.
