We typically keep our blog posts pretty lean. Why? Because we are not posting to share someones entire wedding day with a mile long blog post that seems to never end. I also try not to bore you with too many words – it’s a simple outlet for a quick peek into someone’s wedding day and a highlight of what we were there to capture. This post, however, will not be lean. In fact it’s the opposite – it’s a big, fat, juicy post because we simply could not choose between so many great images. In fact, this wedding was so killer that I am surprised we got it down to what we did. So grab a cocktail and some popcorn and sit back and enjoy… this is Jason and Dana’s wedding blog post.
Hello Jimmy Choo – we meet again! And I’m not the slightest surprised since Dana clearly has impeccable taste! And you compliment this gorgeous Monique Lhullier gown so perfectly. Thank you to Dawn and Annette at Couture Bride for assisting Dana in finding (what I consider) the perfect dress for this sweet, lovely bride!
Some of you might remember this darling fur child, Izzie, from Dana and Jason’s engagement session earlier this year. Well, she almost stole the show again this time with her unwavering attention to every movement Dana made including her assist while this bride got ready. Of course, she was only returning the favor after Dana assisted her into her very own little doggie bridal gown..
After the team from Sin City Makeup sprinkled their fairy dust on this super beautiful group of gals we headed out for a sweet first look and to take advantage of all that this boutique establishment known as Avalon Hotel has to offer!
You would never know that we were in the middle of yet another desert with all of the lush, whimsical niches that we found
Back to Izzie for a brief moment before we move into ceremony….
There were so many special touches that Dana and Jason added to their wedding day but one of my favorite inclusions was asking the mother of Dana’s long time best friend to officiate the wedding. See, not only am I lucky enough to have had the opportunity to get to know Dana through some charity work that we both find dear to our hearts but even before that JMC and I first met Dana at her best friends wedding a few years ago who also had such an incredibly memorable event. Thank you, Marla, for delivering such a classy, eloquent ceremony for Dana and Jason.
