Lauren and Chase

For the most part “Vintage Vegas” means a little downtown action with the older hotels and casinos on Fremont & Main, with maybe a little bit of the old signs in the neon boneyard. But for a local, it can mean something totally different. A place where you had a first date, where family and friends hang out, or perhaps where your grandparents got married.

With generations in Las Vegas and deeply connected to the area, guests of Lauren and Chase’s wedding should have probably expected to attend a 300 plus large venue event. But breaking from what was expected, a small tight group of family and friends were secerctly shuttled to the small and historic Little Church of the West where Lauren’s grandparents were married and then on the Pamplemousse restaurant which also has some deep roots in old Las Vegas culture.

In keeping with aesthetic, I used “mostly” lighting techniques that were common in the 50’s with a modern eye to detail. An old chapel and a storied restaurant add to the mix for a period-perfect vintage car from Celebrity Cars managed to set the tone to demand only black and white images.
