As I mentioned in my previous post, we were delighted to head North to this beautiful place that Northern Michigan calls Traverse City.

Traverse City comfortably rests at the base of the East and West arms of the Grand Traverse Bay and offers amazing food, beautiful scenery, fresh water beaches, lighthouses and so much more!  In our four days there, we only touched a small percent of what this unique city has to offer.  This location is also so special to Mark and Nicole as not only have they spent a lot of their time together here but this is also where Mark Proposed!

We began our photos at a beach on the North Point of one of the peninsulas.

Traverse city is well known for it’s cherry harvest but they also harvest grapes and where there are grapes, there is Wine!!  So after a few tastes, we couldn’t help but use the beautiful scenery to grab some photos. Below, please allow me to introduce:  Chateau Grand Traverse

JMC scoped out this gorgeous barn with its red ivy during our adventure.  I might be in love with these photos.

and what’s a session with Altf without an insane asylum.  This place was as dark and moody as it appears in the photos.  Mark and Nicole knew all the great places to take us!

And we ended our session at the Beacon Lounge located on the 10th floor of the historic Park Place Hotel in downtown Traverse City (also our hotel for the week that I will certainly be visiting again!)

Thank you Mark and Nicole, for a fabulous trip, an amazing wedding, a killer bridal session and heart warming company!  We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to revisit in the near future!
