What’s the best time of day for available light shooting? We field this question so often and the answer is: a little bit before sunset and shoot through it or before sunrise and shoot through that. A location looks totally different in the morning than in the evening. If you are wanting the Spring Mountains behind you then a sunrise shoot is the way go. That means being on location before the sun comes up. Although I am a morning person, we don’t have many sunrise shoots, which I love. Enter Dan and Elouise, this wonderful couple who was probably still on London time was game for a sunrise shoot and we were rewarded with such beautiful illumination on the Spring Mountains and a a variety of light for the shoot.
Thanks Dan and Ele, I had such a fun time with you two, its a great way to start the day!
These are absolutely glorious – thank you so much! We such a great time, and even tho it was a bit chilly at first – these are so worth it. Amazingly beautiful shots.
I love sunrises, there’s a symphony in the sun coming up. Awesome photos, as always.
