So I’m often asked “do you like working with brides and grooms and doing weddings?”… I really do love what I do. I feel lucky and extremely fortunate but then you add a genuine, real couple who just know how to embrace life and love others as your client and you stop and begin to wonder “how did I end up here – how am I so fortunate?” I would wake up each day to photograph a full wedding and event for these two people – I enjoy them very much. Here is a slight glimpse into their touching wedding. enjoy.
Janet’s designer gown came from the one and only bridal salon that speaks excellence in the form of gowns – Couture Bride.  I was immediately over joyed when I walked into Janet’s room to find the very exclusive, Ms. Zee Clemente with her pencils and brushes in hand. Zee is one of Las Vegas’ best commercial make up artists and hair stylists that we have had the pleasure to work with in the past and absolutely adore her and her work.

Now if you have not seen Janet and Ikona’s mermaid themed engagement session, you need to see it right now. It’s not only one of my favorites sessions to date but it will also tie into the theme that continued through out the wedding day with the talents of the event specialists at Champagne Showgirls and the stunning setting of Dragon Ridge Country Club – Not to mention the floral and decor by none other than the prestigious Naakiti Floral and Sit on This.  Is it becoming clear that Janet and Kona had the best of the best in all of Las Vegas as their wedding team?  Just as the tears dried, the Las Vegas skies offered the most beautiful summer storm that I could imagine.  It was brilliant and I wouldn’t ask for anything different.  I believe this is the deserts way of playing it’s part and sending some love to the newlyweds.  It was magical.

Tux One worked their magic for Ikona… it’s alright ladies… you can admit he looks super hot.  It’s only appropriate that his wife is just a gorgeous.  So let me just clarify… gorgeous people AND amazingly sweet and down to earth?  A serious reason that I am so thankful.

I will allow my husbands artistry to speak for itself. Even after so many years, he is still passionate with what he does.

Above is all of the talent of so many professionals put together in one room in addition to the hard work of Kevin Cardova and gift of lighting and speech. A great photographer always loves great lighting… I’m just sayin’…

And now it’s time to party… and party is what they did!  It was a bad ass group with some moves that would make you believe that you were in an interactive Vegas show. I had a blast. I know Memory Lane caught some killer cinema and I’ll be sure to share the trailer soon!

Thanks Janet and Ikona… not just for being in love but for sharing that love with so many others. it’s infectious.
