A long-awaited wedding? Yes, but patience pays off in beautiful ways. After following our work for over a decade and then having a worldwide pandemic delay the nuptials by another year, Rebekah and Martin finally get their dream wedding. And for us going more than a year and a half without shooting a full-scale wedding, not to mention a destination wedding at an amazing mansion in Virginia, we were so eager to get Martin and Rebekah back in front of our lens.
We knew from photographing their engagement session that Rebekah and Martin were going to be a pleasure to photograph again. What we didn’t expect was such a grand location which must be a wedding photographer’s playground. Dover Hall was stunning with one room after another that was amazing. With too many location options to choose from time was the only thing to limit us.

If this location and this photogenic couple weren’t enough, we were treated to a wardrobe change. Martin and his family are from Cameroon so there was a switch from western wedding to this central African attire. Inspired, I had to make a play with all of the art that surrounded the estate.

Rebekah and Martin thank you for the wonderful event for us to come out from our pandemic hibernation.
