When you dream about the perfect day what is on your mind?  Is the weather the biggest contender?  Is it a special date?  Perhaps it’s all about the lighting?  ok, maybe the lighting thing is just our preference…. I am betting for many, it might be about who you are with.  Your people, your tribe.  Or maybe just as long as you have that one person, the rest really doesn’t matter and just falls in place.  I don’t want to speculate but that’s the feel I get from Stefan and Maryanne.  All of it was so importrant and the planning began really early – they have been a couple for 14 years and when the photography chats came into place, we were over a year out… but no matter the years or the planning or the date or how perfect the weather might have been, it was something about once they were together, once they found each other on that church aisle, nothing else mattered.  Allow us to share a little part of their day with you beginning with early morning prep….

Pictured above is Maryannes Sri Lankan Saree but note her two other dresses that she will change into later…

After a little prep with Makeup in the 702 and the ladies in a great suite at Palms Place while the boys were hanging out at Mandalay Bay) we were off to Holy Spirit Catholic Church for a full mass in this gorgeous Summerlin parish.

Stefan and Maryanne wanted to capture some of the surrounding Las Vegas desert as part of their portraits so we scoped out a cool little spot that offered the desert and blue skies during the hardest light of the day and in an area that was on the way to the reception venue and would also allow the party bus filled with the wedding party a place to stop.

Our final destination was Secret Garden where Maryanne and Stefan held their reception and danced the night away!  And dance, they did!  Check out that flip…

Stefan and Maryanne, it was a beautiful day – thank you for allowing me to document it for you.  This is a small peek into the many memories we have captured for you to cherish for a lifetime.
