The day before this wedding, we captured some beautiful portraits (look here), But rest assured that Beata and Brian’s intimate wedding was not without its own adventures. While planning the wedding, there was an expectation that it would about 75-80 degrees up in the mountains just outside of Moab. But, the South West can throw you a curve ball every now and then. A storm that brought rain then snow and made the roads barely accessible turned a simple mountain wedding into a snowy wonderland. We pride ourselves in being able to adjust to unexpected situations and we are always ready when plans change. I actually get excited about inclement weather because it brings so much more atmosphere to the images than just a pretty “blue sky day”. Expecting 80 degrees but finding that we get to play in the snow… how fun it that!? It also gives us such a different variety of what we photographed the day before and fuels some great conversations of this day in the future. What is life without a little adventure?
