This is so much more than a job.  Sometimes… in fact, most of the time, worlds collide and we find that it’s all for a reason.  The law of attraction comes into play for this field.  A wedding is created because of relationships and the unity of two people…. but the shopping and searching for the people that will create this intimate event for you really does require a certain connection.  Don’t get me wrong… if you don’t connect with a specific vendor and go through the motions of just making something happen, that’s perfectly fine too but for something as intimate as photography that isn’t just technical or how you look its how you feel and your story created by other humans, I just think it’s important to have a connection.  Nick and Sarah must have understood or grasped (or dare I say felt) something that they knew was right when the four of us met.  They did, in fact, come to us about a technical concern of lighting in an unconventional space which, yes… we admitted immediately was a challenge but it was also a challenge we were willing to take on and confident enough to know our ability to make it work well.  Their day began with preparations at Green Valley Ranch but their ceremony and reception took place at Gaetano’s Ristorante – true Italian cuisine and Nicks family restaurant not to mention, a Henderson staple since 2002.

Congratulations to Nick and Sarah – it was such a pleasure to capture this incredible day for you and we thank you for entrusting us with such an important day.
